Paid Summer Internship Program

Dates & Deadlines

Application is now open for ASF Scholars to apply.

If you have any questions about the paid summer internship program, contact Heather Hokunson at (860) 612-4291 or hhokunson@asfdn.org.

This program is designed to help ASF Scholars gain meaningful professional work experience, while giving local nonprofit agencies the extra assistance of a talented college student for the summer.

These positions are funded for an hourly wage of $17 per hour for 35 hours a week for a total of 9 weeks. Start and end dates may be flexible, but applicants must be available to fulfill the total of 315 hours.

Decisions about internships will not have any impact on any renewal scholarship application award decisions.

Note: Only current ASF Scholars can apply for these positions. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and agencies will be interviewing and hiring at any point. Scholars should not wait to apply otherwise the position you are interested in may fill.
